This past weekend, Bruce and I drove up north to visit the Tulip festival in Skagit county. A little further along the way is a place called Deception pass. This is a photo from the state park. Lots of driftwood. On a warm day, it would be great for picnics and playing on the beach.
These are some of the tulips....gorgeous. We went a little later than we should have, and they farmers had already plowed under a lot of the fields. The color was beautiful, and I think I need to plant lots of bulbs for next year!!

We had a great family reunion at a camp in Deception Pass about 10 years back. Beautiful spot.
